On Tuesday, a UGA football fan took to Twitter to insult the Florida Gators after they posted a photo of a team bus that featured the Gators’ national championship trophies depicted on the side. The fan noted that the trophies appeared uneven.
The Gators then clapped back at the fan.
This of course references the Dawgs’ last national championship that came in 1980, which is a running joke among fans of Florida and other UGA rivals. It is quite amusing that Florida, a team that Georgia has made look like a high school program in each of their last two meetings, continues to have the audacity to talk trash about the Dawgs. But alas. On November 2nd, the teams will settle things on the gridiron.
