The NFL is paying homage to the 150 year anniversary of college football in an understated way. It is allowing its players to display their pride for where they played in college by allowing a sticker to be worn on the back of their helmets.
In the case of Ezekiel Elliott, there’s no question he still bleeds Scarlet and Gray, so he took advantage of the NFL’s gesture by wearing an Ohio State logo on the back of that famed Dallas Cowboys’ Star lid. Say what you will about some of the off-the-field antics of Elliott, but there’s no doubt he’s all about his alma-mater.
