Look: Eric Weddle shares special moment with son before Week 4 game

Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn’t come with a victory for the Los Angeles Rams, but Eric Weddle will still remember the game for the rest of his life. Not because he had 15 tackles or because it was his best performance ever.

Rather, he’ll remember it for what happened before the game.

Weddle’s son, Gaige, was lined up with the team for the national anthem and on the sideline in his youth football uniform, spending some time with his dad and the rest of the Rams.

Weddle shared a few photos on Twitter from the game and a message for Gaige.

It didn’t take long for Weddle to get acclimated to the culture with the Rams, which is a strong one under Sean McVay. Weddle raved about McVay and his coaching style from the start, which is a big reason he decided to sign with the Rams and turn down more money from other teams.

It’s moments like this one that make Weddle appreciate McVay and the Rams front office.
