Jalen Hurts enters his second season as the starter at quarterback, the recipient of a big-time weapon on the outside and switching to jersey No. 1 for the 2021 NFL season.
Hurts and the Eagles gave fans a first look at his new number during the team’s media/promo day at the NovaCare Complex.
Hurts is looking to take the next steps as a passer after he completed just 52% of his passes for 1,061 yards, 6 touchdowns, 4 interceptions, and a passer rating of 77.6.
If the second-year passer can improve his accuracy, while continuing to punish defenses in the running game, the Eagles could be a darkhorse playoff contender.
