Former UGA QB Justin Fields’ debut with the Ohio State Buckeyes could not have gone much better. The Kennesaw native threw for 234 yards on 18-25 passing with four passing touchdowns in the Buckeyes’ 45-21 win over Florida Atlantic on Saturday.
However, this impressive debut did not stop former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins from throwing some playful shade Fields’ way on Twitter.
Haskins is of course referencing his first game in an Ohio State uniform in which he threw five touchdown passes, compared to Fields’ four. Fields also ran for a touchdown which brought his total to five.
If Fields can indeed provide the same aerial weapon that Haskins did while also adding mobility to the offense, the Buckeyes will be a scary team in 2019.
