Count LiAngelo Ball as the latest Ball brother to have a billboard erected in his honor.
Last week, LiAngelo Ball signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Detroit Pistons. The deal essentially operates as little more than a training camp invite with Ball getting an added financial incentive to stay with the Pistons’ G League team.
To his credit, Ball has impressed during his time with the Pistons. Recently, head coach Dwane Casey complimented Ball’s work during the first week of the preseason.
However, that hasn’t changed the excitement level for Pistons fans in Detroit. On Wednesday night, a photo surfaced of a billboard in Detroit that donned Ball photoshopped into a Motor City Pistons jersey with his name and the phrase “Detroit Loves You!!!” as well.

Shockingly, LiAngelo is not the first Ball brother to have a billboard welcome him to a new city. When LaMelo joined SPIRE Institute in the suburbs of Cleveland, he was welcomed to Ohio with a billboard as well.

LaMelo’s billboard was funded by Overtime, an online digital media company that had a long-standing relationship with LaMelo during his amateur days. So far, there’s been no word on if the same company was involved in LiAngelo’s billboard as well.
