LOOK: Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIV championship rings finally revealed

The Kansas City Chiefs have finally revealed their Super Bowl LIV championship rings. Here are some quick facts about the ring, courtesy of Clark Hunt’s speech from the ring ceremony earlier this evening.

  • The ring boasts a total of 10.5 carats of gemstones.
  • It features a total of 255 diamonds and 36 rubies.
  • There are 16 custom-cut rubies representing the franchise’s 10 division titles and 6 playoff appearances under Andy Reid.
  • The rings are customized featuring player names and jersey numbers.
  • The inside of the ring features the final scores of each of the three playoff games from the 2019-20 season, including the deficits the Chiefs came back from during those games.
  • One side of the ring is dedicated to recognizing the two years the Chiefs have won the Super Bowl and the season motto, which was, “Be Great.”
  • The ring is designed by Jostens and you can purchase replicas here.

Here is some more info on the ring and its features:

It’s a pretty great design and definitely has some throwback elements to the Chiefs’ Super Bowl IV ring. The yellow gold and ruby background surrounding the Arrowhead symbol and the two Lombardi Trophies in the background is certainly a nice touch.
