LOOK: Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce taking in The Masters

The Masters is back and a pair of Kansas City Chiefs Stars are taking in the golf tournament.

Both Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and TE Travis Kelce are among the celebrities in attendance at The Masters, watching the world’s best golfers square off at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. On Thursday they were spotted at the golf club, schmoozing with other celebrities and golf aficionados. They even got a chance to chat with the expected No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft, Clemson’s Trevor Lawerence.

During the Easter holiday, Mahomes was pictured still wearing a walking boot as a result of surgery on his left plantar plate to repair a turf toe injury. He reassured fans that he was all good, but these new pictures should also serve as a reassurance. It seems as if he’s not wearing the walking boot anymore, but it’s not clear if it’s permanent or temporary. The quarterback posted the following photos from Augusta, with his left foot prominently displayed in each of the photos.

Perhaps this is just Mahomes’ way of telling the world that his foot is all healed and that he’ll be ready to go to start the 2021 NFL season. We’ll see what the future brings, but for now, this seems like a very good sign.
