Look: Chargers sport new primary uniforms for media day

The Chargers are gearing up for the first time, preparing for the start of the 2019 regular season. Today, they had media day which provides all the headshots, photos, video clips needed to help the game day experience at Dignity Health Sports Park this fall.

The team rocked their new primary uniforms which are now the powder blue jerseys and yellow face masks.

The Bolts wore the infamous uniforms from 1960-73. Even though the powder blues hadn’t been the team’s main jerseys for nearly 50 years, they remained a consistent favorite, and it had fans thrilled when they found out that they were going to be the staple one.

Here are some shots and videos from media day, courtesy of the team’s official Twitter account:

Running back Melvin Gordon rocked his new jersey, as he now wears the No. 25 instead of No. 28. He supported this number back at the University of Wisconsin.

Defensive end Joey Bosa also showed his new number that he will be wearing. Bosa converted from No. 99 to 97, which is what he wore at Ohio State University.
