The Chargers are a little over a year from playing in their brand new stadium in Los Angeles Stadium in Hollywood Park in Inglewood, CA.
The completion of their shared stadium with the Rams continues to take shape as they’re about 75 percent complete. We’ve seen a ton of updates on the construction of the new venue, which is set to open in 2020.
On Friday, the stadium continued to piece up as the last part of the outer roof was installed. Here’s a look at it going in place, from the stadium cam.
It will be the most expensive stadium in the country and will showcase more than just football games. It is a part of a project that is projected to have more than 1.5 million square feet in retail and office space, over 2,000 residences, a hotel, a park, a lake and a concert venue.
The Super Bowl is scheduled to be held at the stadium in February 2022.
