MANILA, Philippines – Her focus may be on making a name in the music industry, but it looks like Angelina Cruz Montano, daughter of Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano, seems to have the potential to be a beauty queen.
On Instagram, the 16-year-old singer shared photos of her participating as Reyna Elena in a Santacruzan in Orion, Bataan.
Sunshine, ever the proud mom, also shared photos of her daughter.
In an interview with Pep in 2017, Sunshine said that she allowed Angelina to enter showbiz for as long as school remains her top priority. The actress shared that they even have a "written contract."
"So sabi ko, 'Sulat mo, meron tayong kontrata dapat.' (So I told her 'write that down, there should be a contract'.)
"So sinulat niya, ‘I, Angelina Isabelle Cruz Montano, promise that my school will be my first priority and will always practice blah blah, yung mga gano'n," Sunshine said.
