Look: Bengals’ Zac Taylor drives pace car during Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor had some fun over the weekend locally, hopping into the pace car during the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway.

Taylor revealed it’s his first NASCAR event and released a statement beforehand. Below are a sampling of notes from the event before Taylor gears up to get training camp going at the end of the month.

“There is no better way to welcome Coach Taylor back to Cincinnati than by having him pace the field to start the region’s biggest summer event, the Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart,” Kentucky Speedway general manager Mark Simendinger said, according to Luke Feliciano of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “This once-in-a-lifetime experience is a great way to celebrate the new leadership of the Bengals.”
