Look: Aaron Donald receives custom gold cleats for 99 ‘Madden’ rating

For the second year in a row, Aaron Donald was given a perfect 99 overall rating in “Madden.” This year, he was one of just four players to be rated 99 overall in “Madden NFL 20,” alongside Bobby Wagner, DeAndre Hopkins and Khalil Mack.

And just as he did a year ago, Donald was given a few gifts to commemorate the high honor. This week at training camp, the folks at EA Sports presented Donald with a pair of custom gold-plated cleats and a plaque.

“Madden NFL 20” hits store shelves on Friday, Aug. 2. Donald leads the way for the Rams with a 99 overall rating, followed by Todd Gurley (97 overall) and Andrew Whitworth (93) – the only other Rams players above a 90 overall.
