Lonzo Ball upgraded to probable for Pelicans for Tuesday’s game vs. Jazz

After being listed as questionable on Monday night, Lonzo Ball was upgraded to probable on Tuesday morning, hours before the Pelicans are set to take on the Jazz. Ball has missed the last three games for New Orleans with bilateral knee tendinopathy.

Monday saw Ball take part in his first practice in nearly a week. After, he spoke to the media and indicated his plan was to play in Tuesday’s game, which would be his first game in 11 days.

“I feel a lot better. I went through practice for the first time today and felt good. The plan is definitely to play tomorrow.”

Ball noted that he had played through knee pain during the season before finally being instructed to sit out and get his body right. Due to the postponement of the Pelicans’ game against the Mavericks last week, Ball ultimately only missed three games.

In his absence, the Pelicans went 1-2 with losses to both L.A. teams in the Lakers and Clippers before bouncing back with a win on Sunday against the Kings.
