Lonzo Ball to appear on LeBron Jame-produced HBO show ‘The Shop’

Lonzo Ball is set to appear on the LeBron James-produced talk show “The Shop” on Saturday, May 4 at a 10 p.m., UNINTERRUPTED announced on Monday.

Ball will join a star-studded group featuring rapper Travis Scott, actor and comedian Seth Rogen, singer and producer Pharrell Williams, producer Jimmy Iovine, actor Don Cheadle, Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and James’ business partners Paul Rivera and Maverick Carter.

As the starting point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, Ball will always draw attention to himself when he’s on the silver screen, but the timing of this appearance is what makes it especially interesting.

Ball is in the midst of a legal battle with his former business partner Alan Foster over alleged stolen funds. As a result of that fractured relationship, many believe that Ball will be leaving his family brand, the Big Baller Brand, to pursue a lucrative contract with Nike, Adidas or Under Armour. Could get wet a big announcement from the 21-year-old? It’s certainly possible.

At the very least, though, we should expect Ball to talk about the situation he’s in currently, his relationship with his outspoken father and what the next steps are for him. Suffice to say, this one will be worth tuning into.
