Lonzo Ball’s manager posts video of him throwing away Big Baller Brand sneakers

The revolt against Big Baller Brand is fully underway. Following a report from ESPN stating that Big Baller Brand co-founder Alan Foster had been fired over his alleged involvement in the $1.5 million missing from Lonzo Ball’s bank accounts, Ball’s business manager Darren Moore posted a video of him throwing away his old ZO2 sneakers.

Moore has been an advocate for the brand since its early days and even coined the phrase #GetUrMerch, encouraging people to buy Big Baller Brand. Now, Moore is dumping all of his Big Baller Brand apparel with the hashtag #DumpUrMerch:

Moore’s animosity toward the brand shouldn’t come as a surprise. Last week, Moore told ESPN that he was happy to see Lonzo take his business matters into his own hands after firing Foster:

“Alan Foster was more than a trusted adviser,” Moore said. “He was a mentor, a father figure and someone Lonzo and I respected, loved and listened to. … I’m proud of Lonzo for waking up and taking back his power. Together, we will fight for justice.”

It’s unclear what the future holds for Ball right now, but there is reason to believe that his next move involves him signing with Nike. There have also been rumors that Big Baller Brand will be folding as a result.

During a relatively quiet week for the Lakers, the buzz around the Ball family has never been louder.
