Last week, Lonzo Ball was traded from his hometown Los Angeles Lakers to the New Orleans Pelicans in the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade and despite expressing his desire to stay in L.A. in the past, he seems pretty happy to be getting a change of scenery.
Ball posted a video of him reacting the trade news via Facebook and it doesn’t sound like he’s all that broken up about the prospect of playing alongside Zion Williamson, Jrue Holiday and his old Lakers teammates Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart in New Orleans:
It’s unclear what exactly Ball’s role will be once he gets to New Orleans considering Holiday can also play some point guard, but whatever lies ahead for Ball, he sounds ready for it.
