Only a day after it was reported by ESPN that Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball would be severing ties with Big Baller Brand partner Alan Foster, Ball is dropping some Nike-friendly content on his Instagram to the liking of his teammate and Nike-lifer LeBron James.
Ball accompanied the photo with the Nike slogan ‘It’s only a crazy dream until you do it’ and the hashtag #MyOwnMan. James liked the photo almost immediately after Ball posted it, for obvious reasons.
Ball reportedly decided against signing an endorsement deal out of college with Nike and adidas under the advisement of Foster, who had positioned himself as a senior advisor to LaVar Ball.
Perhaps now that Foster is out of the way, James and Ball can work together in their business off the court in addition to trying to lead the Lakers back to respectability next season.
