Lonzo Ball posts cryptic message on Instagram amid trade rumors

With the conclusion of the 2018-19 NBA season on Thursday, the offseason has officially started for all 30 teams and Lakers guard Lonzo Ball has already found himself in the middle of trade rumors.

Earlier this week, Marc Stein of The New York Times reported that the Lakers were offering Ball, Brandon Ingram and the No. 4 pick in a trade for New Orleans Pelicans Star Anthony Davis. While talks between the two sides have seemingly reached a stalemate over the inclusion of Kyle Kuzma, it looks like Ball might know he’s on his way out of Los Angeles.

On Friday afternoon, Ball posted shared a screenshot of a song he was listening to on his Instagram story. The title of the song? “Trade It All.” (h/t Lakers Outsiders):

Granted, the artist, Kenneth Paige, is a close friend of Ball’s and the song was released on Friday, but the timing of the post is definitely interesting.

With the 2019 NBA Draft less than a week away, we should know how the Anthony Davis sweepstakes ends sooner rather than later and if the Lakers are the team that ends up winning, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Ball in the deal.
