Lonzo Ball is never one to shy away from an opportunity to call out, roast or joke with his teammates. With the Lakers, he, Josh Hart and Kyle Kuzma all took friendly jabs at one another that eventually escalated to an infamous diss track that led to the Lakers stepping in.
Now in New Orleans, Ball has continued his joking manner and, though he’s not with his teammates in-person yet, that hasn’t stopped him from joking. On Friday, he took to Instagram to joke with two of the veterans, comparing JJ Redick and Jrue Holiday to Captain America and Black Panther, respectively, after the Pelicans posted a video of the two on their own Instagram account.
Holiday took the jab in good spirits, sharing the post to his own Instagram Story with some tears laughing emojis added.
The Pelicans have bonded remarkably quick this season for a group that was largely brought together last summer. Ball has continued taking shots at Hart while starting a friendly battle with Zion Williamson on Instagram as well.
