Lonzo Ball disses Lakers, Alan Foster in new song ‘Last Days’

On Thursday, Lonzo Ball dropped his second mixtape, this one titled “50&30″after the 50 points and 30 rebounds his manager, Darren Moore, dropped in a charity game. On the first track, “Last Days,” Ball aired grievances against the Los Angeles Lakers and his former Big Baller Brand business partner Alan Foster.

The song opens with the hook, in which Ball repeatedly says the Lakers will regret trading him:

You know I’m all about business

L.A. is going to regret their decision

Straight to the money, you know how we get it

We count up the cash and add up the digits

The Lakers drafted Ball with the No. 2 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and was expected to be the point guard of the future for his hometown team. In July, he was shipped to the New Orleans Pelicans in the blockbuster trade that brought Anthony Davis to Los Angeles.

Suffice it to say, Ball has some hard feelings towards the Lakers over the trade. But they’re not as hard as his feelings towards Foster, who allegedly stole an excess of $2 million from Ball’s business and personal accounts.

Ball shared his thoughts on the unfortunate situation in the song:

Situations in my life will turn a boy to man

You see, I was 19 when I first met Uncle Sam

Put my trust in the wrong person, lost out on some Ls

Put that on a side bet the next day at the MGL

Money not a problem in my life, I just live and learn

I ain’t trying to patch relationships, I just let them burn

Ball filed a lawsuit against Foster in April. Foster is also under investigation by the FBI.
