Longitude festival 2019: How do I get to Marlay Park from Dublin city centre?

Longitude kicks-off next Friday as tens of thousands of music fans head to Marlay Park for the weekend.

The three-day event starts on July 5, with A$AP Rocky, Stormzy and Cardi B headlining.

But many fans may not know how to get to Marlay Park, which is located in Rathfarnham, south Dublin.

Here are some tips on how to get to and from the venue from the city centre:

Dublin Bus

The 16, 116 and 161 Dublin Bus routes serve the Grange Road entrances of Marlay Park.

The 14 and 75 serve the Ballinteer shopping centre, which is around 20 minutes' walk from the festival site.

You can find more information on the Dublin Bus website.

Luas

The closest Luas stops are Ballaly and Dundrum on the Green Line, but they're at least half an hour walk from Marlay Park.

Marathon Travel will operate a shuttle bus between Dundrum Luas station and Stonemasons Way.

It's also usually only a few euro in a taxi from both of these stops.
