Gardai will operate a zero tolerance alcohol policy in public areas outside of Longitude next weekend.
Booze is on the list of prohibited items which includes glass, aerosals, inflatable and fold up furniture, umbrellas, flares and metal bottles or flasks.
They have also urged members of the public to not bring backpacks or large handbags because there's no cloakroom or storage facilities on site.
The festival will feature some incredible artists from around the world such as Stormzy, Cardi B and Lil Uzi Vert.
Festival Republic Director Melvin Benn said that there's an expected attendance of 40,000 people per day, and those who have a ticket "will have a really incredible weekend."
