Longitude 2019: Fun things to do at the festival apart from seeing the main music acts

Longitude is making its highly anticipated return to Dublin's Marlay Park next weekend.

Festival goers are preparing to see ASAP Rocky, Stormzy and Cardi B who are headlining each day but there are so many things to look forward to other than the music.

The festival has always had tight links with Coca Cola, who are bringing back The Longitude Lounge for another year.

This is the area designated for chilling and relaxing while waiting for your favourite acts to come on and has always been a crowd pleaser.

The Longitude Lounge is said to allow you to experience VIP treatment over the three days and the perfect spot for all those Instagram pics.

There are bars and endless amounts of food to indulge in while enjoying some downtime on the indoor and outdoor seating, including those hammocks you see all over social media.

The lounge also offers plush VIP toilets and huge DJs to make you never want to leave.

This is all included in the VIP packages and those with regular tickets can upgrade at ticketmaster.ie.

If you don’t fancy spending the extra few bob don’t worry, there are plenty of other things to do while you wait for your favourite acts.

The Comedy Stage is a great spot to escape the thumping music and huge crowds.

If you want to take a breather this is the perfect spot to sit down and relax while having a great time.

The line up this year is yet to be announced but you’re guaranteed a few laughs despite who you see.

The Three mobile disco is always a crowd pleaser and is expected to make its return again this year.

If you’re in the mood to keep the party going but you’ve time to spare before your favourite act comes on then this is perfect for you.

Casa Bacardi is another version of this and is always a hit at any festival.

Enjoy some live DJ sets while enjoying drinks that aren’t served at every other beer stand.

Longitude hits Marlay Park from July 5 to 7.
