Dessie Farrell takes charge of the Dublin senior team for the first time today as they take on Longford in the O'Byrne Cup semi-final.
Throw-in is at 2pm at Glennon Bros Pearse Park.
Farrell couldn't have bigger shoes to fill in the shape of six-time All-Ireland winning manager Jim Gavin.
And as is Dublin's tact in recent years, he is fielding an experimental side for today's game without any of their marquee players.
Some recognisable surnames include Killian O'Gara and Niall O'Callaghan, the younger brothers of Eoghan and Con, who both start up front, while CJ Smith, Graham Hannigan, Eoin O’Brien, Emmett O Conghaile, Glenn O’Reilly, Chris Sallier, and goalkeeper Michael Shiel are O'Byrne Cup veterans.
The bookies make the All-Ireland champions the clear favourites, but Longford may fancy their chances of causing a minor upet.
