Visit Dublin's best beer garden

There are many contenders for the title of Dublin's best beer garden but many would argue that it is indeed Toner's on Baggot Street.

The large outdoor space acts as a lovely little sun trap and a pint of the black stuff just goes down extra well here.

Swords Estuary is by far one of the most underrated walks in Dublin. There are benches dotted along the path offering opportunities to stop and take in the views of the water.

Take in the scenes along Dublin's Royal Canal

Dublin's Royal Canal stretches all the way from the city centre, under Croke Park, through Drumcondra and Phibsborough to Cabra, Ashtown and far beyond, offering a multitude of walking opportunities.

Additionally, there are plenty of grassy areas and banks you can stop at to sit and perhaps even enjoy a bite, namely from Eatyard at The Bernard Shaw.
