Now you can own the King’s castle.
The long-time home of Arnold Palmer in Unity Township, Pa., near Latrobe, is for sale.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom, 3,956-square foot house at 129 Legends Lane on a .58 acre lot is listed for $880,000. The home, built in 1957, backs to the aptly named Arnold Palmer Drive.
The home was Palmer’s Pennsylvania residence at the time of his death on Sept. 25, 2016 at age 87. He also maintained a home near the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando.
According to the listing on Realtor.Com, the house is a “custom-built, craftsman home unlike any other.”
Perhaps that a nod to Palmer’s four victories at the Masters.
“The home’s warmth is enhanced by timber frame construction, wood floors, oak trim and built-in cabinets,” the listing adds.
Among the other amenities featured:

- Large stone fireplace
- Great room flanked by floor to ceiling windows
- Double-side fireplace outside on wrap-around deck
This marks the second time the home has been listed for sale since Palmer’s death in 2016. In 2018, it was listed for $1.1 million in April before the price was lowered to $980,000 in June.
According to Westmoreland (Pa.) County property records, Palmer and his first wife, Winnie, took out a $14,000 mortgage to purchase the 1.04 acre parcel on which the current home sits in 1957. Winnie Palmer died in 1999.
