A road will in Long Eaton will be closed "for some time" after a serious collision.
Wilsthorpe Road is shut between Dovedale Avenue and Cranfleet Way after the crash on Monday, December 13.
Emergency services are at the scene of the incident and motorists are asked to avoid the area if they can.
The closure was announced at around 5pm and the road will be closed for a considerable amount of time, according to police.
A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said: "Wilsthorpe Road in Long Eaton is closed between Dovedale Avenue and Cranfleet Way due to a serious collision.
"Emergency services are currently at the scene and it is likely the road will be closed for some time.
"Please avoid the area and find alternative routes."
