Woods has battled from spinal fusion surgery and there were, at one point, doubts over whether he would ever play again.

It will have been an extra special day for the fan as his beloved Hoops saw off Aberdeen 3-0 at the national stadium earlier in the day.

Goals from James Forrest, Odsonne Edouard and Tom Rogic capped an easy win over the nine-man Dons.

Neil Lennon's side will now play Hearts in the cup final on Saturday, May 25.
