Londoner’s Diary: Keith Vaz’s comeback hopes dealt a blow by successor’s trial delay

In today’s Londoner’s Diary we learn of some bad news for disgraced former MP Keith “Let’s Get This Party Started” Vaz. Later on we hear that Gilbert and George are creating a museum of their work so they can “live forever” and Sophie Duker says comparing a real gig to an online gig “is like comparing a Ferrero Rocher to a ball of chopped nuts, dirt and sand.” And in our SW1A today we report on Robert Tombs’s book launch at which was attended by Amber Rudd, Lords Mandelson and Frost and Micheal Gove, who all proceeded to trade urbane potshots.
