Welcome back to the Londoner’s Diary. First up teacher and author Kate Clanchy says she’s looking forward to rewriting parts of her book Some Kids I Taught and What They Taught Me after a storm over racially stereotyped descriptions of her pupils. Later today we learn that London’s theatres are still being hit by self-isolation woes and Ben Miller reveals he is still haunted by a case of mistaken identity. In SW1A Sajid Javid his hiring for an assistant to help his social media presence and an ex-Labour advisor reminisces about an excruciating visit to a bingo hall in Elephant and Castle with Ed Miliband.
