Welcome back to the Evening Standard’s Londoner’s Diary. First up we hear about Charlotte Philby, the granddaughter of Soviet double agent Kim Philby, bringing her spy novels to TV. Later today Marcus Rashford appears to have made up with The Spectator and Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt talk about how they keep the flame alive in their relationship. In SW1A we learn how Winston Churchill used to unwind after a hard day of fighting the Second World War. And while out at a black tie dinner at Fortnum and Mason last night we hear the surprising reaction that clichés provoke in one of “dark pop” duo the Bloom Twins.
