Londoner’s Diary: Andrea Leadsom’s less than keen on Sir Keir’s good looks

Welcome back to the Londoner’s Diary. First up Andrea Leadsom reveals which MP she finds most attractive after damningly describing Sir Keir Starmer as “not George Clooney” at the Garrick Theatre last night. Later today we hear there’s an “eerie silence” over the “great unmentionable in genteel Hay” as the festival is still beset by two scandals and Rag’n’Bone Man hits out at foreign media for “weird” lockdown promos for his new album . In SW1A we learn Jeremy Corbyn is getting set to celebrate his 72nd birthday tonight with the likes of John McDonnell, Miriam Margolyes and Kerry-Anne Mendoza.
