London travel news LIVE: Holland Park burst water drain sparks traffic chaos in west London

There are major delays on roads in west London this morning, with Holland Park Avenue partially closed in both directions due to a burst water main.

The eastern arm of Holland Park Roundabout is also closed, as is the A3220 West Cross Route between the Northern Roundabout and the Holland Park Roundabout.

Elsewhere, there is a good service on the Tube and Overground during the morning rush hour after earlier disruption caused by a trespasser in Isleworth.

Mildmay line still delayed

There are still minor delays on the Mildmay line due to the earlier trespasser on the track at Hampstead Heath.

Tube and Overground update

There is still a good service on the vast majority of the Tube and Overground - there are just minor delays on the Mildmay line.

Disruption at London Bridge

A passenger has been taken ill on a train at London Bridge.

As such, trains running through London Bridge are currently subject to delays, with fewer services running through to London Charing Cross.

Some services may be diverted into London Cannon Street.

Roads affected in Holland Park

There are a number of road closures due to the burst water main.

Holland Park Avenue is closed in both directions between Princedale Road and the Holland Park Roundabout, as is the eastern arm of said roundabout.

The A3220 West Cross Route is also closed between the Northern Roundabout and the Holland Park Roundabout.

There are also westbound delays on Westway due to the southbound closure of West Cross, and eastbound traffic along Uxbridge Road is very slow moving, with queues back to Keith Grove.

There are also minor delays on diversion routes.

Major disruption in Holland Park

The burst water main near Holland Park roundabout is causing severe traffic disruption this morning.

Some residents had to be rescued by dinghy, with cars submerged in water, and thousands have had their water supply disrupted.

There is now a good service on all routes following the trespass service earlier in Isleworth.

A13 update

A collision closed the A13 earlier this morning between Wennington Interchange and Ferry Lane.

The road has now reopened, but there are still long residual delays on the approach, with westbound traffic queues on the A13 and Southend Arterial Road back beyond the M25.

Good service on Tube and Overground

Trespass incident update

Lines have reopened following an earlier trespass incident at Isleworth.

However, disruption is expected until around 8am whilst South Western return the service to the scheduled timetable.

Tickets can be used on London buses in the meantime.
