
Commuters on the London Underground are facing a slower start to the day, with delays reported on both the Central and Bakerloo lines as the morning rush hour gets underway.
On the Central line, there are minor delays eastbound only while engineers work to repair a track fault at Lancaster Gate. The rest of the line is operating with a good service. Meanwhile, the Bakerloo line is running with minor delays due to train cancellations, leading to longer waits and busier trains.
Transport for London is advising passengers to allow extra time for their journeys and to check live travel updates before travelling. Efforts are underway to restore normal service as quickly as possible.

Engineers trying to solve signalling fault

The fault has blocked some lines towards Clapham Junction meaning some trains may be cancelled or delayed.
No trains are currently calling at Queenstown Road Battersea in both directions and disruption is expected to continue through rush hour until 9am.
National Rail said engineers are now on site and working to resolve the issue.
