Meanwhile, Elizabeth line services are facing 15 minute delays due to an earlier incident at Paddington where the communication alarm was activated after a customer’s bag strap became stuck in the train doors.
Elsewhere, there are severe delays on the Central line between Leytonstone and Hainault via Newbury Park due to a signal failure at Barkingside.

Thameslink statement on delays this morning

A Thameslink spokesperson told the Standard: "At about 6am this morning one of our drivers saw a person on the track. Thanks to their quick thinking, they safely brought their train to a halt and no-one was injured. Power was shut off to all lines for around 25 minutes until the person was safely removed.
"This is a very busy route with more than 30 trains an hour passing one way or the other, so trains and passengers were significantly disrupted. We still had delays of around 25 minutes an hour later and we expect service recovery to continue until 10am.
"Thameslink tickets continue to be accepted for no extra cost on the Tube and Southern services on any reasonable alternative route. We're sorry to anyone who was held up this morning. If your journey was delayed by 15 minutes or more then you can claim compensation from the Thameslink website."
20 minute delays on M25 in Cobham

A spokesperson for TfL told the Standard that the incident was resolved quickly and the train was back on the move within minutes.

“We sent an ambulance crew, two paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer and our Hazardous Area Response Team. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a patient and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority. A second patient was taken to hospital by South East Coast Ambulance Service.”

Man rushed to hospital after M25 crash confirms London Fire Brigade

In a statement the LFB said: “Firefighters attended a road traffic collision on the M25 near Heathrow Airport.
“The collision occurred on the clockwise carriageway at junction 14. It involved a car and a lorry. One man was released from one of the vehicles by firefighters and taken to hospital. There were no reports of any further injuries.
“The carriageway remains closed clockwise at junction 14 with motorists being diverted via the slip roads. National Highways is providing traffic updates.
“The Brigade was called at 4.41am and firefighters from Hayes Fire Station, along with Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene. The Brigade left the scene by 6.23am, with the incident left in the care of the Metropolitan Police and National Highways.”
