
Londoners are facing an extremely wet morning commute as Storm Chandra sweeps the country.
Poor weather is expected to affect a number of train routes on Tuesday, with the Met Office yellow and amber weather warnings in place.

Severe delays between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction

A12 update
08:53 , Tom PlaceThere are long delays on the A12, with around 15 minute delays on Ardleigh Green Road, Gubbins Lane, and Gooshays Drive.
There are also 5-10 minutes delays on North Street heading away from Romford.
The westbound A13 and M11 southbound are also seeing delays due to traffic seeking alternative routes.
Bakerloo update

A4 update
08:30 , Tom PlaceThere are currently delays on the A4 eastbound between Hogarth Lane and Cedars Road, with a lane restriction while utility works are conducted.
Traffic is slow moving from the M4 near the junction with the A312 - expect delays.

Rush hour Tube update
08:10 , Tom PlaceAs we reach peak rush hour, there is still a good service everywhere on the Tube and Overground, barring minor delays on the Central line due to train cancellations.
Traffic in Waterloo
08:03 , Tom PlaceWaterloo Road ( A301) is currently closed southbound between The Cut and Sandell Street to facilitate SGN works.
Drivers are advised to use an alternative route, and Stamford Street is slow moving eastbound.

The poor weather brought by Storm Chandra will disrupt a number of rail services all day, so if you are using the rail network please check your route before travelling and allow more time for your journey.
CrossCountry, Great Western Railway, Island Line, South Western Railway, and Transport for Wales have all announced delays and cancellations already.

Storm Chandra
07:20 , Tom PlaceHeavy rain is expected to fall in London through morning rush hour with Storm Chandra hitting the capital.
Gusts in excess of 30mph were recorded overnight, and a yellow warning for rain covering much of London came into force at midnight and runs through to midday.

Poor weather affecting trains
07:15 , Tom PlaceStorm Chandra has brought heavy rain, wind and snow across the country, which will affect a number of rail services throughout the day.
Great Western, CrossCountry, and South Western have all released alerts, with trains expected to be cancelled, delayed, revised.
The disruption will continue until the end of the day - please do check your route before you travel, and allow extra time for your journey.
