Overground services into London Euston are disrupted on Wednesday morning - (Ross Lydall)

Commuters relying on a busy Overground line are facing disruption throughout Wednesday due to a power supply issue.

The failure at London Euston suspended Lioness trains into the station.

Meanwhile, a fault with the signalling system at London Charing Cross is preventing trains from using platforms 1, 2 and 3.

The District, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines were also all reporting delays, while early travellers on the Elizabeth line faced disruption with no trains running from Woolwich into central London.

Elizabeth line improving

There are now only minor delays on the majority of the Elizabeth line.

There are still severe delays between Paddington and Reading & Heathrow Terminals, and between Whitechapel and Shenfield.

Disruption between St Pancras & Finsbury Park

There is a fault with the signalling system between London St Pancras international and Finsbury Park which means all lines are blocked.

Trains running between these stations may be delayed or cancelled, with the disruption is expected to last until around 11am.

Tube and Overground update

There are severe delays on the entire Elizabeth line, and on the Piccadilly line between Acton Town and Uxbridge.

There are minor delays on the District line between Earl's Court and Ealing Broadway & Richmond and between Barking and Upminster eastbound.

There are also minor delays on the Hammersmith and City Line between Barking and Baker Street, and on the entire Lioness line.

Reduced Overground service

A failure of the electricity supply at London Euston has meant that some lines are closed.

As a result, London Overground are running a reduced service between Watford Junction and London Euston until the end of the day.

Severe delays on the Piccadilly line

Disruption at Charing Cross

There is a fault with the signalling system at London Charing Cross which is preventing trains from using platforms 1, 2 and 3.

Engineers are attempting to correct the fault, but Charing Cross services are subject to delays and, cancellations and diversions.

The disruption is expected for at least a couple of hours - please do check alternative routes if this may affect you.

Elizabeth line update

The line is still experiencing severe delays between Abbey Wood and Reading & Heathrow Airport, and minor delays between Shenfield and Whitechapel.

The Hammersmith & City line is experiencing severe delays between Barking and Baker Street due to an earlier faulty train at West Ham .

There are also minor delays on parts of the District, Piccadilly, and Metropolitan lines.

There is also currently no service between Paddington and Abbey Wood on the Elizabeth line due to a points failure at Paddington.
