London travel LIVE: Euston rail disruption until the end of the day after overhead wire damage

Passengers are facing delays and cancellations on trains to and from Euston after damage to overhead wires in the Watford Junction area.

Some lines remain closed while Network Rail teams continue repairs following yesterday’s damage, with trains being cancelled, revised or delayed as a result.

Avanti West Coast services between London Euston and Birmingham New Street, Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Glasgow Central and Edinburgh face disruption.

London Northwestern Railway between London Euston, Milton Keynes Central and Birmingham New Street are also affected.

Southern are no longer affected by the disruption.

The Northern line was part-suspended between Morden and Stockwell this morning due to a “customer incident” but now there are just minor delays on the line.

Travelling Millwall fans face disruption due to Humber Bridge closure

Millwall fans heading to their team’s Championship playoff semi-final first leg against Hull this evening are facing travel disruption due to the closure of the Humber Bridge.

Humberside Police asked for drivers to find alternative routes due to a vehicle fire.

Traffic information service Inrix said on the A15 there was "queueing traffic due to bus fire between Barton and Hessle".

Pictures shared online show a bus completely on fire.

It is unclear at this point how long the disruption will continue.

Minor delays on Northern line

Disruption on the Northern line has eased after the earlier customer incident, which TfL said took place at Tooting Bec.

The stretch of line between Morden and Stockwell which was part-suspended has now reopened.

There are no just minor delays on the line.

Severe delays on Central line

There are severe delays on the Central line due to an earlier faulty train at Oxford Circus.

The delays are concentrated between White City and Ealing Broadway / West Ruislip.

Delays on M4 slip road

National Highways are not reporting a lot of disruption on the roads this morning.

However it is reporting some delays on the M4 eastbound exit slip at junction 4.

There are currently delays of 10 minutes against expected traffic.

Northern Line part-suspended due to 'customer incident'

The Northern Line has been part-suspended due to a “customer incident”.

Transport for London said there was no service between Morden and Stockwell, and minor delays on the rest of the line.

No further details on the incident have been provided at this time.

Tickets are being accepted on London Buses.

Severe disruption on District Line

Commuters on the District line are facing severe delays between Turnham Green and Richmond due to a late finish of engineering work, Transport for London has said.

London Underground tickets will be accepted on C2C and local bus services. There is a good service on the rest of the line.

Euston problems continue after overhead wire damage

Disruption yesterday to Euston trains caused by damage to overhead wires continues on Friday and is expected to affect trains until the end of the day, according to Network Rail.

Commuters are facing delays and cancellations on trains to and from Euston after damage to overhead wires in the Watford Junction area.

Some lines remain closed while Network Rail teams continue repairs, with trains being cancelled, revised or delayed as a result.

Avanti West Coast services between London Euston and Birmingham New Street , Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Glasgow Central and Edinburgh face disruption.
