A charity collecting Christmas presents for London children in need was today urgently calling for more donations.
The Winter Toy Appeal, which gave toys to 4,000 children last year, is struggling to meet demand.
Founder Jenna Fansa, of the Local Buyers Club, said: “It’s a way of taking the pressure of parents who simply can’t afford to buy a gift for their children.”
The appeal only accepts new toys and Saturday is the last day to donate.
