London stabbings: Six knifed including four teens in ANOTHER night of carnage

Six people including four teenagers have been stabbed in another night of knife carnage in the UK's capital.

The first incident happened at around 3:15pm in Kidbrooke, Blackheath, south east London where eyewitnesses said two men 'armed with huge knifes' launched an attack on an 18-year-old.

The teen, who is now fighting for his life in hospital, was left with injuries to his side and head.

Roughly an hour later, a 26-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in Hounslow, west London before another man was slashed just metres away half an hour later.

At about 6:05pm, a 17-year-old boy received a wound to the face just metres from a police station in north London's Tottenham.

The alleged attack was said by police to have taken place by a Betfred shop.

Blood splatters were being cleaned from the pavement outside a taxi office opposite Tottenham Police station yesterday evening.

Police have cordoned off the two locations for investigations.

An officer at the scene said a man had received facial injuries after 'an altercation between two young groups', and that two cordons were linked.

The boy sustained non life-threatening injuries but was treated by paramedics and taken to an east London hospital.

At 7pm, a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in Barking, east London.

According to the police, he was taken to hospital in a non life-threatening condition.

Two hours later at 9pm, an 18-year-old man was knifed in Tooting, south London, and left with non life-threatening injuries.

Prime Minister Theresa May has pledged to hold a major summit in Downing Street on April 1 aimed at tackling the problem.

Met Police commissioner Cressida Dick said the last few years 'undoubtedly have been the highest and most worrying levels in my service'.

She added: "If you look at stabbings of young people I do think this is a new and tragic and worrying phenomenon."
