London’s biggest dog festival, the Four-Legged Fête, comes to Battersea Power Station this week, with plenty to offer for two-legged and four-legged friends.
The free festival, hosted by pet insurers Napo Pet Insurance, kicks off at 5pm on Tuesday, July 15 and runs until Sunday, July 20.
From Wednesday, the festival will start at 11am and last until 7pm, with hours between 9am and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, all held in the forecourt of Battersea Power Station.
What’s on offer at London’s biggest dog festival?
The Four-Legged Fête will host events such as a ‘Sniff & Seek Maze’ where you can put your pup’s nose to the test in a scentwork maze, a dog show where pooches can compete in various categories, and a ‘Ball Pit Bonanza’.
There’s also a dog race, the ‘Doggo Dash’, which sends the dogs running around the hay bales to see who tops the leaderboard, and ‘Trainer Talks’, for owners to get expert tips and demos from professional trainers.
In addition, there will be free vet check-ups, including dental checks, weigh-ins, micro-chipping checks, and advice on healthy weight maintenance.
You can also visit the ‘Pro Photo Stand’ to get a free professional dog-and-human portrait.
With the promise of more surprises on the day, there’ll also be opportunities to take part in giveaways and competitions.
