London Olympics 2012: BBC's sound solution is back to basics

The Independent reports that the BBC has been having sound problems in its new Olympics studio in Stratford. On Tuesday Fiona Bruce sounded like she was talking from inside a glass bowl on BBC1's 10pm news. Simple solution apparently – sound-deadening curtains and carpets. Even big events force bosses to get back to the basics it seems.
