London MC Ghetts closes Music Box season 4 with incredible stripped-down session

British grime legend Ghetts is the 10th and final artist to appear in our fourth season of Music Box

The London MC, born Justin Clarke, spoke with The Independent back in September about his incredible new album Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament, where he spoke about how making music is "therapeutic" for him and also revealed that becoming a father has massively changed his outlook on life.

He also shut down media claims that grime is either dead or struggling to survive with the rising popularity of other genres like drill.

"I love grime with my heart," he said. "I respect grime enough to represent it because that's what made me, that gave me my first listeners, and I will never deny being grime. Grime itself will never die."

For his Music Box session Ghetts performed two original tracks from The New Testament: "Spiritual Warfare" and "Purple Sky". Check it out (above).

Thanks so much to the artists and their teams for taking part in Music Box this season, and to everyone who watched the sessions! We'll be back next year for season 5 in March, until then you can watch all sessions from previous seasons here.
