- London Mayor Sadiq Khan has announced a new 'Weekend Hopper' fare for bus and tram travel across the capital.
- Between 25 July and 31 August, passengers can make unlimited bus and tram journeys on Saturdays and Sundays for the price of a single fare.
- The current single bus fare is £1.75, meaning weekend travellers will pay this amount for all-day bus and tram use.
- The promotion, which also covers the August bank holiday Monday, marks the 10th anniversary of the TfL Hopper fare.
- The Weekend Hopper fare will be automatically applied for pay-as-you-go users, aiming to make summer travel more affordable for families.
