Tens of thousands of people descended on the capital today for the 2019 London Marathon.
More than 56,000 runners took part in the gruelling 26.2 mile race while crowds cheered them on from the sidelines.
Elite runners were joined by celebrities and amateur fundraisers, passing many of London’s iconic landmarks along the way.
Tennis star Sir Andy Murray started the race, while Prince Harry made a surprise appearance to hand out medals to marathon and wheelchair winners, as well as meet volunteers.
