London man, 44, arrested after £2m worth of cocaine seized at lock-up

Police raid warehouse to find drugs - (Hertfordshire Constabulary)

A west London man is among three suspects arrested after more than £2 million worth of cocaine was seized in Hertfordshire.

Detectives discovered the huge haul when they raided a commercial property on Extension Road, Hertford.

The 44-year-old, who lives in Acton, and a man and woman aged 51 and 59, both from Hatfield, were detained on suspicion of drug offences during the operation into “a significant supply network”.

Forenic officers were still at the site on Saturday afternoon.

Hertfordshire Police said its Serious and Organised Crime team are continuing to actively search for further outstanding individuals linked to the investigation.

A spokesman added: “Operation Relentless will pursue anyone involved in drug supply and Hertford residents should be reassured by this significant seizure, knowing those drugs will not make it onto the streets of Hertford and beyond.”

All three suspects held on Thursday have been released on bail while enquiries are continuing, he said.
