
A London man has been charged with raping a woman in a town centre park in the early hours.
Travis Moore, 36, is accused of attacking the alleged victim at the Godolphin Recreation Ground in Slough, Berkshire.
Thames Valley Police said the incident happened at around 1.30am on Sunday.
Moore, of Great West Road, Hounslow, was arrested on Sunday and charged with rape and attempted rape against the same person.
He has been remanded in custody by magistrates and his next hearing will be in Reading Crown Court on December 1.
The force said: “Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been charged with one count of rape and one count of attempted rape against the same victim.
“Travis Moore, aged 36, of Great West Road in London, was arrested on Sunday and charged the following day.
“He has been remanded in custody and his next hearing will be in Reading Crown Court on Monday, December 1.
“The charges are in connection with an alleged incident which occurred on Godolphin Recreation Ground in Slough at approximately 1.30am on the morning of Sunday, November 2.”
