London Irish legend Topsy Ojo to retire at the end of the season

London Irish's most-capped player and record try-scorer Topsy Ojo will retire at the end of this season, when the club return to the Premiership.

Ojo, who won two England caps in 2008, made his Exiles debut in 2005 and has 300 appearances and 80 tries for the club.

The 33-year-old will move into a commercial role as Irish manage next summer’s relocation to the Brentford Community Stadium.

“I am delighted that the club is back in the Premiership with a positive future on the horizon and though I won’t be on the pitch, hopefully I can continue to make an impact off it,” he said.

He follows Saracens wing David Strettle, who also announced he will retire at the end of the season.
