Thousands of people are marching from Hyde Park to Parliament Square as worldwide outrage continues to grow over the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis last week.
The 46-year-old African American was filmed gasping and pleading “I can’t breathe” as a white police officer knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes.
Thousands of people gathered in the park to protest at 1pm, with chants heard of "no justice, no peace", before the crowd marched towards Parliament Square.
People across the UK have also been asked to to “take the knee” on their doorstep in solidarity with George Floyd, at 6pm.
